In class
LifeBudget fits into one lesson of 45 to 50 minutes, on Android phones or together on a projector.
Lesson plan
First, the class spends five minutes listing the costs of running a household. Then everyone plays for about 20 minutes and looks closely at one decision, such as the flat, a contract or working hours.
Next, the class spends ten minutes comparing experiences: what cost money, what took time and what was surprising? The rest of the lesson is about what you would need to know beforehand in real life.
